Grammar Rules PDF (YT Playlist)

READ THE FOLLOWING NOTES CAREFULLY BEFORE PURCHASE.

1. This PDF contains rules 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 7, 8, 9, 11, 12, and 13 in our Grammar Rules Playlist on our YouTube channel. All of these rules are tested on the ACT®; on the DIGITAL SAT®, Grammar Rules 1, 2 (mainly pronoun agreement), 3, 4, 8, 9, and 11 will be relevant.

2. This PDF does NOT contain all of the rules/material tested on these tests. For example, other than comma splices, this PDF does not discuss rules for comma usage, which are tested extensivley on both tests. Students who desire or need more comprehensive materials should seek out alternative or supplemental resources.

3. This PDF is not meant to be a "standalone" resource. It must be used in conjunction with the free videos in our Grammar Rules Playlist and will not be effective without watching those videos.

4. We make no guarantees of any score increase or improvement. This PDF is offered as is, and we offer no additional pages or supplements, other than the free videos on our YouTube channel which guide you through each rule. 

5. Although the fonts/page layouts in this PDF differ from those you'll see in the videos in our Grammar Rules Playlist, the content is the same, and the changes should not impact your ability to use the videos to fill out the PDF.

6. Students preparing for the digital SAT should know that some, but not all, of the rules in this PDF will be pertinent on that test.

General note: The sections in this PDF represent just a portion of the manual our test prep students use when working with their tutors. That manual was created exclusively for our tutors and their students; we did not intend to make it publicly available. We have chosen to do so, however, because many of the thousands of students who have found and benefitted from our YouTube videos have requested the PDF corresponding those videos.
